Rejoining the EO Queensland Board for Another Year!

I’m beyond excited to share that I’ve been reappointed to the Entrepreneurs Organisation Queensland Board for a second year! The EO Queensland Board dinner, with its dazzling Great Gatsby theme, was a night to remember, filled with roaring 20s bands and dancers.

When I was first asked to join the EO Queensland board, my initial reaction was one of slight panic. My experience with voluntary not-for-profits, like founding the Griffith University Rowing Club in 2009, made me wonder if this would be a similar journey.

As it turns out, it has been one of the most valuable and educational opportunities I have ever had. In our forums, we get the benefit of hearing each other's stories and experiences. However, when you sit on a board with 11 chairs and 9 co-chairs, you get to see how people genuinely work. When each person is placed within their domain they are truly elite.

The membership chair is an incredible salesperson, the marketing chairs own their own marketing companies, and the president, Tim Tocco, has led organisations of nearly 300 people. Seeing firsthand how they approach tasks, tackle them, and implement new initiatives for the benefit of our growing chapter is incredibly interesting. It's a fabulous educational opportunity for me as I strive to grow my own business, make it more efficient, more elegant, and achieve more with less.

Many thanks to the EO community for supporting me. I am looking forward to my customary call-ins to forums each quarter to tell them about the galaxy of opportunities they have to connect with the EO world, a community of nearly 19,000 business owners.
